I've been in RAK for a year now where I freelance. Being in charge of my own hours means I'm flexible with my time and can be dedicated to taking care of your pet. As a dog owner, I find it difficult to find people or institutions I can really trust. Unfortunately, animals can't talk and let you know how their day has been, which means plenty of room for neglect. There have been a few instances where I've had to leave my Zoe somewhere and would be told by staff that she had a fabulous day making friends, only to find her looking scared and unwilling to go back. We've bred dogs to be dependent and extremely loving creatures. I believe it's our responsibility to make sure they have full lives and I do my best to make every animal I meet as happy as possible for as long as I am with them. If they're able to take a peaceful nap afterwards with a full belly and something to dream about, I'm happy too. Obviously I would also send you pictures and videos of your fur baby in your absence if you wish. It can be very comforting. I am allergic to cats but I do have some feline friends in my life - I just need a heads up to take my antihistamines. I am an animal lover and will happily take care of any pet you have. The more information you can give me on your baby and how you'd prefer for me to interact with them, the better. I want to be able to do at the very least as good a job as you would with them. Would be happy to have your dog board with me in my house with a garden (and beach!) as long as he/she gets along with Zoe. Same goes for doggy daycare; I would be with my dog and yours during the day, likely going to the beach or park etc...

Experience

I have always had at least one dog. At the moment I'm lucky to have the sweetest 10 year old Boston terrier who's been my bestie since I adopted her 8 years ago. I know I do a good job taking care of her because she gives me rave reviews. So do her friends, Maltese Bentley and Labrador Ivy. I've also spent lots of time walking and bonding with the lovely rescue dogs at RAK AWC. I can walk your dog, visit them, play with them, feed them, give them their medicine, cuddle them and tell them how cute they are.
